BLANCHE L. ALBRIGHT
June 30, 1912 - March 22, 2004

Services for Blanche L. Albright, 91, were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Williamson Funeral Home, Amery, with Pastor Mike Carlson officiating. Music was provided by Warren Shortess and Diane Lundgren.

Casketbearers were Gary Solum, Eric Solum, Jack Steichen and Warren Shortess.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, with Williamson Funeral Home, Amery, assisting the family.

Blanche Lillian Albright was born in Alden Township, Polk County, on June 30, 1912. As a child she attended the Wagon Landing school. After school she moved to St. Paul where she raised her family.

They lived in St. Paul until moving to Milwaukee in 1954. She lived in Milwaukee for 45 years and decided to move to New Richmond after the death of her third husband.

She resided in New Richmond until moving into Judy's Cottage at Golden Age Manor, Amery, in 2000.

On March 22 she died at Judy's Cottage.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, John Steichen, Tony Paiszak and Frederick Albright; one son, Phillip Steichen; brothers, Walter, Herbert and Albert Asp; and sisters, Mabel Seekins, May Fahey and Minnie Branjord.

Survivors include her children, Doris (Gary) Solum of Turtle Lake and Jack Steichen of Barron; sister, Hazel Olson of New Richmond; two grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
