Florence A. Behrend, age 87, Emerald, WI, passed away June 11, 1992 at Maple Manor Health Care Center in New Richmond.
Florence was born December 29, 1904 at White, South Dakota, the daughter of Peter J. and Anna M. (Heilesen) Peterson. She married Frank A. Behrend at White, South Dakota on March 17, 1926. She farmed with her husband and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank in 1974; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by one son, Allan LeRoy Behrend of Emerald.
Services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Deer Park, on Monday, June 15, 1992 with Rev. Mark Broecker officiating, with organist Gloria Thompson. Other music was provided by the congregation.
Pallbearers were Vilas Timm, Joseph Alexander, Stanley Hortness, Henry Vaughn, Gary Henke and Kenneth Salmon.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park. Arrangements were by Beebe Mortuary, New Richmond.
