ERICK CARLSON
May 27, 1838 - June 18, 1921

Erick Carlson was born May 27, 1838 in Jentland, Sweden. He married Ingaborg Gunderson Gundarsdotter in Kall Jantland Sweden. They immigrated to the United States in April 1869. They lost an infant son named Gunner who was buried at sea. Their son Charles Gustof was two years old. They moved to Cylon Wisconsin where Eric was a farmer.

Erick and Ingaborg had 10 children: Annie (1870), Ed, Joseph John, Caroline (1873), Idela, Mainta, Augusta, Ida (1879), Charles Gustof (1867-1928) and Gunner (!869-1869).

Erick died June 18, 1921 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Death certificate states cardiovascular and senility.

INGABORG CARLSON
June 8, 1845 - September 13, 1887

Ingaborg Gunderson Gunnarsdotter Carlson was born June 8, 1845 in Jentland Sweden. She married Erick Carlson in Kall Jamtland Sweden. They immigrated to the United States in April of 1869. They lost an infant son named Gunner who was buried at sea. Their son Eric was a farmer.

Erick and Ingaborg had 10 children: Annie (1870), Ed, Joseph John, Caroline (1873), Idela, Mainta, Augusta, Ida (1879), Charles Gustof (1867) and Gunner (1869-1869).

Ingaborg died September 13, 1887 and is buried somewhere in Deer Park. She died of female problems.

LENA MARKUSON TORGERSON
April 8, 1849 - October 1869

Lena Markuson was born April 8, 1849 (**in Deer Park, Wisconsin??) to Anna Tronson Markuson and Louis Torerson Markuson. She married Louis "Lars" Torgerson on July 27, 1868. They had one daughter, Annie Sophia Torgerson who was born on May 2, 1869. This daughter, Annie, grew up to marry Charles Gustaf Carlson, son of Erick and Ingaborg Carlson.

Lena Torgerson died in October of 1869 at 20 years of age. She died of typhoid when her daughter was only 5 months old.

**probably not born in Deer Park, Wisconsin since the Willow River Settlement preceding Deer Park was settled in the 1850's.

CHARLES GUSTAF CARLSON
1867 - November 11, 1928

Charles Gustaf Carlson died November 11, 1928, at St. Paul, Minn. after a short illness, at the age of 61. While he had not been in the best of health for the past year, his death was unexpected.

Charles Carlson was one of the old and trusted employees of the Omaha railroad serving them for over thirty years, the last twenty as roadmaster with headquarters at Eau Claire. Last year he was pensioned due to failing health.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends who always found in him true friendship, kindly assistance. He was a member of Eau Claire Lodge No. 112, F. & A. M. for many years.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Anna; sons, Ira L., of Rivers, Man., Emil of Flint, Mich., and Victor L. of this city; daughters, Mable, Beatrice, Anna and Leona. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Eggert Funeral Home, 762 East 7th St., St. Paul, Wednesday, November 14, at 10 a.m. from whence the body will be conveyed to Deer Park for interment, with services there at 2:30 p.m., November 14.

ANNIE CARLSON
May 2, 1869 - August 5, 1944

Mrs. Annie S. Carlson, 550 Fall Street, widow of Charles G. Carlson, died at Sacred Heart hospital Saturday morning after a brief illness. She was 75 years old and has been a resident of Eau Claire for 35 years.

She is survived by three sons, Irv L. Carlson, Winnepeg, Canada; Emil L., Flint, Mich.; Victor R., Gilmanton; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Waller, Mrs. M. E. Hotchkiss, and Mrs. Everett Soley, all of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Ray Steinke, St. James, Minn.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Al Berglund and Mrs. H. O. Hanson, Deer Park; Mrs. Nels White and Mrs. Ed Young, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Ben Solem, Luck, and Mrs. John Houde, Rushford, Minn.; two brothers, Christ and Adolph Torgerson of Deer Park.

Friends may call at Stokes Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until the hour of the services.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at Stokes and Sons chapel at 10 o'clock and at Deer Park at 3 p.m., with interment at Deer Park. Rev. H. Friedman will officiate.
