ARVID LAMOYNE FOUKS, Jr.
May 27, 1960 - September 6, 2013

Arvid LaMoyne Fouks Jr. was born on May 27, 1960 in Amery, Wisconsin the son of Arvid Sr. and Mary Ann (VanErp) Fouks. Growing up his family lived in Amery, Deer Park and New Richmond. Arvid graduated from Amery High School in 1978. In 1979 he was united in marriage to Julie Springer and together they had two daughters. They made their home in the Amery area. Arvid worked several places during his lifetime. He worked at the Doughboy Feed Mill, Ideal Door, SMC and Thompson Machine. He also spent time at the F & A Dairy in California. Arvid was later married to Laurie Dixon and they had two daughters. He also did construction work in the area. He enjoyed the outdoors and the hunting and fishing it offered. Arvid enjoyed family time, especially time with the grandchildren. He was a member of the H. D. Riders and made several trips to Sturgis for the motorcycle rally over the years. Arvid was living in River Falls, Wisconsin and was hospitalized at University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN where he passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the age of 53 years. His mother preceded him in death. Surviving family members include his father, Arvid Fouks Sr.; daughters, Heather (Quane) Huff, Heidi (Jonathan) Walsh, Bobby Sue (Jeremy) Adams, and Ashley (Vincent Verzier) Fouks; five grandchildren; brother Howard Fouks; sisters, Diane (Jim) Stukel and Cindy Fouks as well as other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from East Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Amery. There will be visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and for the hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park, Wisconsin.
