Henry Ernest Fouks

A lifelong resident of the town of Cylon, Henry Ernest Fouks passed away Sunday, March 13, 1955 in the Baldwin hospital, where he had been a patient for ten days.

Funeral services for Mr. Fouks were held Wednesday, March 16 at two o'clock in the Cylon Methodist Church, Rev. Theo. Mathews, Dodgeville, and Rev. L. S. Orton officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Fouks, son of George and Christina (Mathews) Fouks, was born June 9, 1879. He was married December 2, 1913 to Hazel Smith. For many years Mr. Fouks was a prominent farmer in the town of Cylon.

Surviving him are his widow; a son, Gordon A. Fouks, Cylon; two daughters, Helen (Mrs. Julius Holmson), Glenwood City, and Avis (Mrs. Paul Finke), Spring Valley; 7 grandchildren; and three sisters, Miss Nellie Fouks, St. Paul; Mrs. Henry Saunders, Troy, Mont., and Mrs. Paul Haglund, Two Harbors, Minn.
