Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 1:30 pm at the home, and 2 pm from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Deer Park, for Mrs. Johanna Margaret Fouks, who passed away Monday, January 3, 1949 at her home in Deer Park. Rev. O.W.C. Boettcher will officiate.
Mrs. Fouks was born February 15, 1871, the daughter of William and Pauline (Ver Warner) Mathews, in the town of Cylon. December 26, 1889 she was united in marriage to Gottlieb Henry Fouks. Surviving her are a daughter, Gertrude (Mrs. Ronald Wilhelm), Deer Park; 5 sons, Arthur, River Falls; Raymond, Clear Lake; Stanley, Forest; Irvin and Leslie, Deer Park; 2 sisters, Mrs. Pauline Demulling, Osceola, and Mrs. Hulda Gust, Luck; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
