MARY ANN FOUKS
May 4, 1938 - July 13, 2007

Funeral services for Mary Ann Fouks, 69, were Wednesday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at East Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Loren Schumacher officiating.

Soloist was Jim Haugerud and organist, Jane Johnson.

Casketbearers were Jason Kobernick, Arvid Fouks Jr., John Walsh, Jeremy Adams, Aaron Kobernick and Rick Anderson.

Honorary casketbearers were Sandy Sorenson, Bill Pierce, Zoe Thompson, Alan Kohn, Mark Roy, David Van Erp, Matt Roy, John Hassel, Gene Kahler, Jim Owens, Howard Fouks, Billy Roy, Stewart Roy, and Leonard Van Erp.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park. Williamson Funeral Home in Amery assisted with arrangements.

Mary Ann Fouks was born on May 4, 1938, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Leonard and Marian (Lewis) Van Erp. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Dresser, and graduated from Osceola high school in 1956.

On September 21, 1957, she was married to Arvid Fouks.

She worked for St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance, was bookkeeper for a construction company and worked at Fabri-Tek. She also worked at the hospital in Amery.

She was a Girl Scout leader and a 4-H volunteer. She was a member of East Immanuel Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school and was active in Ladies Aid.

The Fouks have been living in Topack, Arizona, until her recent illness. They moved to Green Bay to be with their daughter. Mrs. Fouks died in Green Bay on Friday, July 13.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Leonard, Richard and Ricky.

Survivors include her husband, Arvid; sons, Howard and Arvid Jr.; daughters, Cindy, Diane, Heide and Heather; brothers, Duane Roy and Arda Roy; sisters, Patricia Sorenson, Carol Kobernick and Yvonne Owens; and six grandchildren.
