DELIA MARTHA FRANK
November 13, 1903 - April 21, 1990

Delia Martha Frank was born in Dodge County, on November 13, 1903 the daughter of Ferdinand and Alvina Bethke. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. After graduating from high school, she attended Polk County Normal to become a school teacher. On June 30, 1928, she was united in marriage to Lester Frank and to this union five children were born. They operated a farm until 1961 at which time they retired and moved to Amery. Delia was a resident of the Golden Age Manor the past few years. She died at the Apple River Hospital in Amery on Saturday, April 21 at the age of 86 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; sisters, Elsie, Edna and Elvira; two grandchildren, Larry Frank and Randy Peche and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Peche. Left to mourn are her sons: Allen of Clayton and Lester of Clear Lake; daughters: Marilyn (Layne) Norling of Minneapolis, Rosie (Dean) Soberberg of Clear Lake and Carol Peche of St. Paul; brother, Carl Bethke of Amery and sister Ida Orf of New Richmond. She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 24 at 11 a.m. from the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest with Rev. Michael Main officiating. Singer was Muriel Pankonien, accompanied by Roxie Anderson.

Casketbearers were Robert Frank, Richard Frank, Ryan Frank, James Soderberg, Bill Norling, Frank Norling, Brian Frank, Rudy Peche and Ronald Peche.

Interment was at the Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park with the Williamson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
