Lois J. Hinz, age 71 of South St. Paul, Minn., died peacefully on New Year's Day surrounded by her loving family.
Lois was born on October 15, 1936 in Deer Park, Wis., to Joseph and Lena (Schiefelbein) Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Jimmy Cook, Myrtle Fischer, Jerry Cook; brothers-in-law Robert Haines, Ray Fletch, Hank Larson, Harold Fischer; sister-in-law Beverly Cook.
Lois is survived by her children, Greg (Ann Vanderloo) Hinz, Douglas (Kris) Hinz, Kara (Greg) Brennhofer, Karla (Alberto) Rosario; siblings Minnie Larson, Gladys Knight, Rita Haines, Vera Wulf, Pete Cook, Bernie Singerhouse, Jeanette Fletch; grandchildren Jennifer, Erik, D.J., Cole, Carter, Tara Hinz, Brittany, Zachary Brennhofer, Brett, Kyle, Janaya, Janessa Rosario.
Funeral services were Saturday, January 5 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 151 S. Washington Ave., New Richmond, Wis., officiated by Father James Brinkman. Music was provided by Anne Anez and Barb Peterson. Pallbearers were Erik Hinz, D.J. Hinz, Cole Hinz, Zachary Brennhofer, Brett Rosario and Kyle Rosario.
Visitation was one hour prior to services at the church. Spring interment will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
Memories preferred to the family. Lois will be fondly remembered for all the love and laughter she brought to others.
