Kenneth M. Hoglund

Kenneth M. Hoglund of New Richmond and Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Deer Park, transitioned to join our Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2001. He left this world peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar and Minnie Hoglund on Monticello, Minn.; four siblings, Irving, Vernon, Maurice, Vivian; and two sons, Larry and Howard.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Inez (Martin); four sons, Rodney, Gerald, Martin, Douglas; three daughters, Joanne Johnson, Bobbi Hoglund, Rhonda Baumgartner; five siblings, Stuart, Byron, Basil, Curtis, Clarice; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was known for his carpentry, electrical and woodworking skills, his sense of humor, his honesty and his caring nature toward everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation was held Thursday, May 24, from 2-5 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in New Richmond.

Dinner was served in the church basement from 5-6:30 p.m. Funeral services immediately followed the dinner at 6:30 p.m.

He was buried with military honors at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.
