Henry Jabusch

Henry Jabusch, Rosenberg, Tex., for years one of the best known farmers of the town of Cylon, was instantly killed Saturday at Humble, which is in Harris county and in the Houston oil fields, when a drilling connection broke and a heavy piece of iron struck him on the back of the head.

He was standing on a platform in a crowd of people near the working machinery when the accident happened. Right beside him was a little boy who was uninjured.

The widow and other members of the family passed thru New Richmond with the remains Tuesday morning on the northbound Omaha passenger train, to Deer Park, going from there to the family home in the town of Cylon.

The funeral takes place this afternoon at 1:30 from the home and 2 from the M. E. church in Deer Park, Rev. Grosse, Red Wing, officiating.

The widow and six children survive.

Decedent was about 66 years of age.

A Friend of New Richmond

Mr. Jabusch always had a decidedly friendly feeling for New Richmond and New Richmond. He had much to do with the organization of the Inter-County Cooperative Packing Co. and with the location of the plant in New Richmond.
