Kevin J. Jarchow, age 74 of New Richmond, died on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater.
Kevin was born on March 12, 1933 to George and Edwich (Campeau) Jarchow in New Richmond. Kevin was married to Kathleen Joanne Smith in 1955 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls. He was a milk hauler and dairy farmer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen; parents; siblings, James Jarchow, Lloyd Jarchow, Kathryn Kamp, Rita Denninger, Marie Mountain. Survived by his children, Karla (Butch) Overhouse, Ronald (Shirley) Jarchow, Susan (Mike) Kastens, Steven (Debby) Jarchow, Michelle (Pat) Kamm, Jeffery (Jen) Jarchow; sisters, Donna Raddatz, Evelyn (Eugene) Hexum, Vergie Halverson; seven grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Cathy Jarchow, Rita LaVenture; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Richmond. Father James Brinkman will officiate. Music will be provided by Ron Boldt, organist, and Laura Jo Jarchow, soloist. Pallbearers will be A.J. Overhouse, Kevin Kamm, Joe Kastens, Crystal Overhouse, Kody Kamm, Stephanie Kastens and Kyle Kamm. Visitation is at 4-8 p.m. Thursday, October 4, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond, and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Deacon Michael Germain will do a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will be at St. Bridget's Cemetery. Honor guard provided by the New Richmond American Legion.
