Leland E. Johnson passed away in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 78. He was born February 21, 1930 to Leonard and Esther Johnson. Lee attended grade school in Star Prairie, Wisconsin and graduated in New Richmond, Wisconsin. He married Alberta Olson in 1949. (daughter of Victor and Catherine Olson of Deer Park, WI) Four children were born to this union.
Lee drove an Amery school bus for a number of years and worked for Nielson Dray until he moved with his family to California after the passing of his wife Alberta. Lee moved to Hawaii to be with his two sons.
Preceding him in death was his wife Alberta; parents; and one sister.
Surviving are his four children Lyle Johnson of Deer Park, Wisconsin, Kenneth and Leroy Johnson of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Rita Goldman Johnson of Palm Springs, California; one grandson, Jason Carr of Palm Springs, California; and many friends and relatives.
Funeral services were private in Honolulu, Hawaii.
