Warren Eugene Jorgenson was born on August 23, 1918, in a farmhouse in Black Brook township.

He was the only offspring of Thos Jorgenson and Thora Josephine Holvorson Scoby Jorgenson. Both of his parents had been married before so he had several half brothers and sisters.

He completed his freshman year in Amery in 1934 and then went into farming.

They continued to farm until they had an auction on September 10, 1986. He then hired out to the neighbors until he enrolled at WITC-New Richmond. He graduated in small engine repair three months before his 70th birthday. He then ran Jergy's Repair Shop in the backyard of his home in the village of Deer Park.

He retired when lifting became too difficult.

He was a member of East Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the cemetery board for several years.

He then became his wife's roommate at Golden Age Manor in November 2004. She died December 26, 2004. He remained at Golden Age Manor.

He died August 8, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mayta; sons, Steven and David; grandson, Andrew; several half brothers and sisters.

He is survived by daughter-in-law, Konny Jorgenson; a granddaughter; and foster son, Duane Hochstetler.
