HENRY OTTO KNOLL
February 12, 1894 - October 17, 1975

Henry Otto Knoll was born February 12, 1894 in St. Joseph Township, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, the son of Carl Ferdinand and Marie (Hammelman) Knoll. He died October 17, 1975 at the Apple River Valley Memorial Hospital at Amery at the age of 81.

Henry was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He served his country during World War I with the United States Army. He had resided in rural Deer Park for the past 78 years where he was engaged in dairy farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Carl, Edward and Julius and one sister Laura. Surviving are one brother Theodore Knoll, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Zellmer and (Sabena) Mrs. Stanley Fouks all of Deer Park, and many more distant relatives and friends.

Following the committal services, the United States Flag was presented to the family by Mr. Floyd Fouks, a member of Erick Vick Post 213 of Deer Park.

Funeral services were held on Sunday October 19 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Deer Park with Rev. Milton Haack officiating. Organist was Mrs. Kermit Thompson. Casketbearers were: Orville Knoll, Raymond Hammelman, LeMoyne Evenson, Francis Fouks, Herbert Fouks and Stanley Fouks. Interment was in the family lot at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park with Hammer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Lunch was served family and friends during fellowship following the services by ladies of St. Paul's Lutheran Ladies Aid.
