Grace Kobernick

Grace L. Kobernick, age 64, of Deer Park, WI, died unexpectedly on March 21, 2006, at the Holy Family Hospital in New Richmond, WI.

Funeral services were at United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 11 a.m.

Clergy was Rev. Teri Koca. Music was provided by Juanita Wood and vocalist was Marsha Scheuermann.

Casketbearers were Aaron Kobernick, Adam Kobernick, Amanda Kobernick, Jason Kobernick, Vince Kobernick and Robin Rivard.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, with Scheuermann-Hammer Funeral Home, Clear Lake, Wi, handling arrangements.

Grace Louise Kobernick was born on May 14, 1941, in Waltham, MA, the daughter of Alfred and Eva Enman. She grew up in Massachusetts and attended school there.

On April 1, 1966, Grace was married to Allen R. Kobernick in Waltham, MA. In 1967 they moved to Milltown, WI, and a year later settled onto their farm at rural Deer Park, WI. Together they raised two sons, Wesley and Barry Kobernick.

In addition to operating their dairy farm, Grace worked various jobs in and around Clear Lake, Deer Park and Forest, WI. She worked as a waitress at the Clear Lake Cafe, at the Forest Feed Mill, and for the past 15 years she had been employed at Advance Food Products in Clear Lake.

Grace was also very active in the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, and was responsible for starting the church's potato stand for Clear Lake Days and for the Amery Fall Festival.

Grace enjoyed gardening, canning, and bird watching, especially cardinals, which were her favorite. She loved visiting with friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen R. Kobernick; parents, Alfred and Eva Enman; brother, George Enman; and sister, Glenn Perreault.

She is survived by sons, Wesley Kobernick of Santa Monica, CA, and Barry (Penny) Kobernick of Deer Park; grandsons, Allen W. and Karl Kobernick of Deer Park; brother and sister, Shirley Sakey of Lexington, MA, and Dave (Debbie) Enman of Lowell, MA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley (Sharon) Kobernick of Turtle Lake, Kelvin (Ann) Kobernick of Arden Hills, MN, Harold (Nancy) Kobernick of West St. Paul, MN, Charlotte Kobernick of West St. Paul, MN, Carol Kobernick of Deer Park, and Ben (Gail) Kobernick of Deer Park; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services were held at United Methodist Church in Clear Lake, Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Terri Koca officiating. Music was provided by vocalist Juanita Wood and Marsha Scheuermann.

Casketbearers were Aaron Kobernick, Jason Kobernick, Adam Kobernick, Vince Kobernick, Amanda Kobernick and Robin Rivard. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park. Arrangements were with Scheuermann-Hammer Funeral Home in Clear Lake.
