BERTHA AMALIA KROGH
December 26, 1904 - April 20, 1971

Funeral services were held at East Immanuel Lutheran Church April 24 for Bertha Amalia Krogh, 66, Deer Park, who died at Apple River Memorial Hospital in Amery April 20, 1971.

Rev. Albert Olson conducted services, and music was provided by Carline Swanson, William Anderson, and Mary Lou Peterson. Pallbearers were Carl and Arnold Johannessen, Gene and Clement Bulman, Norman Johnson and Rovert Larson. Interment was in East Immanuel cemetery.

Bertha Amalia (Johannessen) Krogh was born December 26, 1904, to Andrew and Nettie Johannessen in New Independence, Minn. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Alborn, Minn. On July 2, 1931 she married Oscar Krogh in Minneapolis.

They lived in Cylon Township since 1938, where she was a member of East Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Krogh is survived by her husband; two sons, Gerhard B., Deer Park, and Curtiss, St. Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Barbara) Zimmerman and Mrs. Stephen (Carol) Sabel, both of Baldwin; three brothers, Carl and Arnold, both of Culver, Minn., and Arnold, Two Harbors, Minn.; two sisters, Laura Bulman, Kansas City, Kansas, and Agnes Larson, Merian, Kansas; and 10 grandchildren.
