Linda Larson

Linda Doreen Larson, 53, of Burnsville, Minn., died on Thursday, April 14 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. after a brief illness. She was born in Baldwin on October 16, 1951 to Norman and Marilyn (Olson) Larson.

She was preceded in death by her father Norman and an infant brother, Bruce. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Larson of New Richmond; brothers David (Jeanne) Larson of Hammond and Steven Larson of New Richmond; sister, Sandra (Ronald) Green of Somerset and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Linda was a 1969 graduate of New Richmond High School and received her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Linda worked as a RN at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire for 23 years. She then worked for United Behavioral Health in Minneapolis, and finally Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Eagan, Minn. as Care Manager.

Visitation was held on Monday at the Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond. Funeral services were Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in New Richmond with Reverend Alan George officiating. Organist was Jerri Rang and vocalist was Jeanine Carlson.

Pallbearers were nephews Dan, Mike and Brian Larson and Jon and Joe Green, and brother-in-law Ron Green. Interment was in the Cylon Cemetery.

Beebe Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
