WILLIAM GEORGE LOOCK
August 31, 1908 - September 7, 2005

William George Loock, age 97, formerly of New Richmond, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at the Parkview Home in Woodville.

He was born in Barron, Wis. on August 31, 1908 to Julius and Sophia (Dittman) Loock. Bill married Esther Jeske on June 14, 1936 in Forest. He and Esther moved to Hammond in 1947 to farm and Bill also went to work for Doboy Feeds. Bill retired from Doboy after 25 years and in 1966 he and Esther moved to Boardman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Herbert, Julius, Irvin, Arnold; two sisters, Meta Tepfer, Freda Luehmann; also one infant brother and one infant sister.

He is survived by his wife Esther of Woodville; three sons, Wayne Loock of Hammond, George (Joanne) Loock of Medford, Marvin Loock of Baldwin; two daughters, Ethelyn (Lynn) (Max) Irhke of Woodville, Mary Ann (Richard) Durban of Madisonville, KY; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Serena Loock of Amery; as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation was held Friday at the Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond. Funeral services were Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hammond with Pastor Thomas C. Kutz officiating. Organist was Linda Noack and pallbearers were Bill's grandsons, Greg Loock, Rick Loock, Joel Ihrke, Jon Ihrke, Jayson Durban, Justin Durban, Jerad Durban and Jordan Durban. Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery.

Beebe Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
