Josephine Jerda (Benson) Negri, 96, died on Monday, November 9, 1981, at Golden Age Manor, Amery, Wisconsin.
Josie was born July 10, 1885 in Alden Township, Polk County, Wisconsin. She married Domenic Negri and they lived in Fort Francis, Ontario. When Domenic died, Josie moved back to Alden Township.
Funeral services were at Stenberg Chapel, Williamson Funeral Home, Amery on Thursday, November 12, 1981 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Michael Morning officiating. Singer was Lou Williamson and organist was Mickey Ludke. Pallbearers were Ray Anderson, Vernon Setter, Henry Marquand, Oliver Kolstad, Ray Setter and Warren Marquand. Honorary pallbearers were Walter Lee, Wilfred Johnson and Dr. Rene Gnade. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park, Wisconsin on the Benson lot.
