Hanne Stensvold

Services for Hanne Stensvold, 81, were held at First Lutheran church, New Richmond, on Wednesday, December 8, 1982 at 2 PM with Rev. Eugene Wekander officiating.

Congregational hymns were sung, accompanied by the church organist.

Pallbearers were all grandsons. James Stensvold, John Stensvold, Mark Stensvold, Eric Stensvold, Robert Hanson Jr., Terry Hanson, Garry Hanson, Lowell Fouks and Bill Fouks.

Interment was in the Amery cemetery with Williamson Funeral Home in charge.

Hanne M. Stensvold was born October 12, 1901, at Chicago, the daughter of David and Marie Danielson. She was baptized at Chicago and moved to Greewood at an early age. She was confirmed at Greenwood.

On October 7, 1921, she was married to Christian Stensvold at Longwood, Wis., and six children were born.

The family moved to Northwestern Wisconsin where they made their home.

Hanne Stensvold died at the St. Croix County Health Center on Sunday, December 5, 1982.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christian; her parents; a son, Orlando; and an infant brother.

Survivors include three sons, Norval and Darlo, both of Spooner, and Glen of New Richmond; two daughters, Lola (Floyd) Fouks of Deer Park, and Mary Jane (Robert Sr.) Hanson of New Richmond; three brothers, Peder Danielson of Whitstock, Ill., David Danielson of Greenwood and Arndt Danielson of Neillsville; a sister, Hazel Danielson of Chicago; 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.
