Raymond A. Warner

Raymond A. Warner, 82, Eau Claire, died Monday, March 1, 1982 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

He was born February 23, 1900 in the Town of Stanton, District No. 2 where he received his elementary education. Later he attended the UW-River Falls. For some 40 years of his life, he and his brother, Edwin, farmed the Warner homestead west of Deer Park.

On October 17, 1964 he married Helena Nelson in Eau Claire. He has lived at 3450 London Road, Eau Claire, for the past 18 years.

He is survived by his wife, Helena; one stepson, David LaPoint, Altoona; one brother, Edwin C. Warner, Amery; one sister, Leona Busse, New Richmond; one brother-in-law, Emil Busse, New Richmond, and many nieces and nephews.

Smith Funeral Chapel, Eau Claire, was in charge of the arrangements. Funeral services were Thursday, March 4 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Herbert Prahl conducting the service. Spring burial will be in Hay Creek Cemetery, Augusta.
