St Croix County Fair, July 2006

"Living Memorial" awards are given out at the St. Croix County Fair to an individual or individuals who have contributed time to the St. Croix County Fair and volunteered for various activities dealing with the Fair.

At this year's 2006 fair in Glenwood City, Char Croes of Deer Park, received one of the awards. She has been a 4-H General Leader, 4-H project leader, chairperson for the Fairest of the Fair program, Deer Park Homemakers and has volunteered many times at the fair as needed.

Kim Reaman received the other award. She has promoted 4-H extensively throughout the county coming up with new ways to get kids interested in the 4-H program. Within the last couple of years there have been 3 or 4 new clubs that have started in St. Croix County. Kim has been involved in a vast promotion of the 4-H program since becoming the St. Croix County Extension agent.
