Here is more information submitted by Lowell Fouks.

The original homesteader was Johan Heinrich Finke. (German) He was a Civil War veteran and former POW at Andersonville. In the 1900's, the George Williamson family rented the farm while they built their own buildings and farm northwest of the four corners. So Agnes Williamson Frank was born in that house. Arnold Hemauer raised his family and milked cows in the barn. Bill Fouks lived in the house for twenty five years. Everyone is buried at Calvary Cemetery.

The house has recently been sold to Tom and Teresa Dalton. They removed the masonite siding and discovered a log house underneath. He added two inch furring strips and sprayed closed cell insulation over the logs and covered it with chipboard and house wrap. They will be adding new windows and maintenance-free siding.
