Danielle Ailts, daughter of Wayne and Mary Jo Ailts, was named Miss New
Richmond Saturday night during a coronation ceremony at the city's 46th
annual Fun Festival. Ailts will be joined on the court by first princess
Amine Jameson, daughter of William and Stephanie Jameson; second princess
Amanda Krueger, daughter of Tom and Debbie Krueger, third princess (and Miss
Congeniality) Lindsay Vergin, daughter of Darren and Lisa Vergin, and fourth
princess Cailin Kearns, daughter of Mark and Rita Kearns.
Rounding out the field of candidates were Dezerae Tavares, Kara Dorr, McKinsey Frye, Abby Abramson, Chelsea Gartner (winner of the pageant's talent contest last Thursday), Laura Rendell and Kori Derrick.
The coronation also included the choosing of cash prize winners in the Fun Fest button drawing. They include, Cheryl Johnson, River Falls, $25, Paige Spalding, New Richmond, $50, Lori Hawkins, Hammond, $75, and Don Vergin, New Richmond, the grand prize of $100.
