Fire fighters endured bitter cold
Thursday afternoon to put out a fire that damaged a pump house in the 1900
block of 210th Avenue, about two miles southwest of Deer Park. The cause of
the fire was still under investigation Tuesday. The blaze broke out in the
pumphouse, but did not threaten a nearby home. Fire fighters had to chop
through the roof to get at the flames.
