Deer Park fire fighters spent about
two hours at the scene of this fire in the 1000 block of Polk County Highway
A Monday afternoon. The fire broke out in a partly dismantled barn. Quick
response from the Fire Department prevented the blaze from getting out of
hand. A column of smoke was visible from up to 10 miles away before the fire
was brought under control.
