Alfred F. Boe was born May 12, 1899, at Deer Park. With the exception of about 2 years, 1924-25, during which time he rented a farm near Elmwood, he lived at the home place here at Deer Park, which he bought about 12 years ago, all his life. Jan. 26, 1923, he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Webb, Spring Valley, who is suffering the loss of a good husband. 4 splendid children also survive: Daniel, Betty, Daisy and Benny; a sister, Cora, now Mrs. Ed Gadzkie, all of Deer Park. One sister passed away 9 years ago.
After terrific struggle and much pain, Alfred passed away April 8, 1937, in the St. John's Hospital, St. Paul, at the age of 37 years and 11 months.
The funeral was held at the ME church April 10. Rev. O. H. Steen officiated with W. W. Beebe, New Richmond, in charge of the arrangements. A large number of relatives, friends and neighbors attended.
