MARY ANN CARLSON
December 29, 1942 - September 9, 2007

Funeral services for Mary Ann (Neitge) Carlson, 64, were Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Organist was Cindy Nelson.

Casketbearers were Mike Johnson, Tim Peterson, Jim Peterson, Dan Peterson, Jerry Peterson and Chuck Ajer. Honorary bearers were her grandchildren Scott Green, Lisa Gaetz, Katie Gaetz, Morgan Gaetz, Mackenzie Carlson, Ty Carlson and Summer Carlson.

Interment was at the Trinity Lutheran cemetery. Williamson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Mary Ann Carlson was born December 29, 1942, in Amery to Edward and Wilma (Peterson) Neitge. She grew up in the Deer Park area and graduated from New Richmond high school.

She was married to Loren Carlson on October 26, 1964 and two children were born. They lived in Amery and Mary Ann worked at Fabri-Tek and later at TDC card company. She worked at the Holiday Village store and then as a baker at Super Valu for many years.

She did plastic canvas sewing and made many things for her family and friends and also for craft sales.

Mary Ann died on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Golden Age Manor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; her parents, Ed and Wilma Neitge.

Surviving are her son, Dan (Danielle) Carlson; daughter, Denise Gaetz; brother, Ed Neitge; sister, Carol Van Hyfte; seven grandchildren.
