Lois C. Damerow (nee Tripp), age 83, of Columbia Heights, passed away July 4, 2010.
Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Eva Tripp; brother, Raymond; and daughter, Caroline.
Survived by husband, Loren; sons, Wayne (Kathryn) and Allen (Barbara); grandchildren, John, Sarah, Joel, Jacob and Leah; brother, Robert Tripp.
She was a nurse at Crest View Nursing Home for 14 years, retiring in 1987.
Longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Loved to travel, visiting all 50 states and 9 trips to Europe. She loved to garden and play cards, especially Bridge and 500. Excellent cook, avid reader, good dancer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Columbia Heights Senior Center.
Memorial service sill be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE, Columbia Heights. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Deer Park, Wis.
