Kenneth E. Ellingson of Dresser died suddenly on September 14, 2008 at his home. He was 72.
Ken was born August 9, 1936, at Forest to Curtis and Louella Ellingson. He graduated from Amery High School in 1954 and UW - River Falls in 1958. He was a teacher in the Osceola Schools for 30 years. Ken enjoyed playing and coaching football, basketball and baseball. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and cutting wood.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Louella.
He is survived by his sons Mark, Brett, Gregg, Todd and daughter Heidi, grandchildren Logan, Greta, Arica, Andrew, Abigail, Lindsay, Davis, Carly, Lauren, Anna, Alex, Jay and Luke; and brother, Doug Ellingson, of Fond du Lac.
Funeral services were September 18 at Peace Lutheran Church of Dresser with Rev. Wayne Deloach and Intern Bob Sinclair officiating. Music was provided by Dorothy Lindholm. Intement was in the Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.
