Funeral services were held April 26 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Deer Park, for Hilma Erickson, 82, Grosse Ile, Mich., formerly of Deer Park, who died April 21, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan.
Rev. Kenneth Barnes conducted services, Susan Jacobson was organist, and Larry Detar was soloist. Casketbearers were Lloyd and Raymond Anderson, Frank Monahan, Harry Irle, Harold Olson and Goodwin Albertson. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation was held April 25 at Beebe's Funeral chapel, and one hour preceeding services at the church. Eastern Star services were held April 25 by the Loyal Chapter of O.E.S., Star Prairie.
Hilma (Thompson) Erickson was born May 9, 1888, to Christ and Lena Richardson Thompson in Deer Park. On July 1, 1908, she married Martin Erickson in Deer Park.
Mrs. Erickson is survived by one son, Marvin, Olathe, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. James W. (Harriet) Flood, Dallas, Tex., Mrs. W. R. (Claire) Martingale, Glendale, Calid., and Mrs. George (Maxine) Babbish, Grosse Ile, Mich.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
