Connie Sue Fouks was born May 27, 1946 to Truman and Phyllis (Younder) Roberts. She passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at her home in Apache Junction, AZ.
She attended school in Webster City, IA. During her life she had worked at various places.
November 4, 1972 she was united in marriage to LaVern C. Fouks. Together they had two sons.
They made their home in Amery, WI until they moved to Colorado in 2001. In 2007, upon retirement, they traveled to various locations in their 5th wheel. During this time they developed many special friendships. During her retirement years she enjoyed crafts, making jewelry, playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.
Connie is survived by her husband, LaVern; children, Chad (Carri) Fouks of Amery, Travis Fouks of New Richmond, Shelly (Steve) Fouks of Amery, Dan (Jessi) Fouks of Osceola, Rick Fouks of Osceola and Rod Richardson of Stillwater, MN. She is also survived by grandchildren, Katlyn, Rachel, Derek, Bailey, Carlie, John, Janessa, Amanda (Will), Ashley, Hailey, Kathryn, Brooke, Dylan, Zachary and great-grandson, Reyce. Brothers Bob (Barb) Roberts of Longmont, CO, Rich (Sandy) Roberts of Webster City, IA and Rande (Debbie) Roberts of Jefferson, IA. Many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Apache Junction, AZ. Visitation and memorial service were held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Garfield on Saturday, February 11, 2012.
