Funeral services were held at Stenberg Funeral Chapel in Amery April 27 for Raymond William Fouks, 76, who died at his home April 22, 1971.
Rev. Ivan Schalla conducted services, Mrs. Kermit Thompson was soloist, and Florence Gehrman was accompanist. Pallbearers were Lowell, William and Arvid Fouks, Stanley Fouks Jr., Ronald Wilhelm Jr. and Alvin Olson. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.
Raymond William Fouks was born April 19, 1895, to Gotlieb and Johanna Fouks in Manitowish, Wisc. He later moved with his family to St. Croix County, and married Eda Julia Olson June 20, 1918 in Cylon Township.
Mr. Fouks is survived by his wife; one son, Floyd R. (Lola) Fouks, Deer Park; one daughter, Mercedes Gribble, Pasadena, Calif.; three brothers, Arthur, Stanley and Leslie, all of Deer Park; one sister, Gertrude Wilhelm, Deer Park; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Irvin.
