Nathaniel Coit Frank

Nathaniel Coit Frank, son of William J. and Luella Frank, was born on December 4, 1898, in Forest township and passed away Sunday evening, July 6, 1958, at the Cumberland Memorial hospital. He had reached the age of 59 years and seven months.

On March 16, 1921, he was united in marriage to Gladys Ellevold of Forest township. To this union one son was born, Boyd Clifford, of Clear Lake.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Gladys, of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, one son, Boyd and wife and two grandsons of Clear Lake, Wisconsin, 6 brothers and one sister, William B. Frank of Clear Lake, Ronald Frank, Baldwin, Elmer Frank, Dresser, Ralph Frank, Almena, Lester Frank, Clear Lake, Mrs. Albert Ailts, New Richmond, and Orville Frank, Deer Park.

Mr. Frank had been a life long member of the Forest Methodist church and resided on a farm northeast of Forest for 25 years. The past nine years he has resided on a farm located in the township of Almena, Barron county. He was an ardent fisherman and a sincere lover of nature.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 9, 1958, at the Forest Methodist church, the Rev. Arvid Morey and Rev. Allen Torkelson officiating. Interment was in Calvary cemetery at Deer Park. Pallbearers were Oliver Winberg, Harvey Warner, Walter Tellijohn, Chris Abt, Ralph Orn and William Diers.

We want to thank our friends, neighbors and relatives for their many acts of kindness shown us in our recent bereavement. We especially thank the Rev. Arvid Morey and the Rev. Allen Torkelson for their words of comfort, Mrs. Allen Torkelson, Mrs. Minnie Johnson, Mrs. Lawrence Swanson and Mrs. Eleanor Orn for the music, the pallbearers and the ladies who served the lunch at the church, those who sent memorial gifts and flowers. It was deeply appreciated.
