HAROLD JAMES HANSON
November 2, 1933 - October 21, 2004

Services for Harold Hanson, 70, were Monday, October 25, at 1 p.m. at the Williamson Funeral Home, Amery. The Rev. Ed Rasmussen officiated.

Caskerbearers were Morgan Hanson, Maggy Luer, Seth Luer, Matthew Corbett, Kevin Corbett, Abby Corbett and Jimmy Corbett.

Interment with military honors was at the Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park.

Harold James Hanson was born on November 2, 1933, in New Richmond, the son of Herman and Anna Hanson. He graduated from New Richmond High School. He served an enlistment in the United States Army.

In June 1962, he was married to Alice Rosenstiel and five children were born. They made their home in Cylon Township where he farmed for many years.

He died at the Amery Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 21, 2004.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; brothers, Chuck and Robert; and sisters, Irene and Dorothy.

Survivors include his children, Mary Luer, Amy (Brian) Corbett, Gerry Hanson and Ed (Kathy) Hanson; sister, Helen Langness; and seven grandchildren.

HAROLD JAMES HANSON

Harold James Hanson was born November 2, 1933 in New Richmond, the son of Herman and Anna Hanson.

He went to New Richmond Schools and graduated from the New Richmond High School. He served an enlistment in the United States Army after high school.

In June of 1962 he was united in marriage to Alice Rosenstiel and to this union five children were born. They made their home in Cylon Township where he farmed for many years. He enjoyed watching wildlife and going to auctions. He was also an avid Packer fan.

Harold died at the Amery Regional Medical Center Thursday, October 21, 2004.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; brothers, Chuck and Robert; and sisters, Irene and Dorothy. Left to mourn are his children, Mary Luer, Amy (Brian) Corbett, Gerry Hanson and Ed (Kathy) Hanson; brother, Roger Hanson and sister, Helen Langness. He also leaves seven grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 25 at the Williamson Funeral Home in Amery. Rev. Ed Rasmussen officiated the service.

The Williamson Funeral Home in Amery assisted the family with arrangements.
