Pearl Mildred Johnson, age 90 of New Richmond and formerly of Deer Park, died on December 11, 2008 at the Deerfield Gables in New Richmond.
Pearl was born on September 14, 1918, the daughter of Raymond and Oleana (Paulson) Carlson, in Alden Township.
On December 26, 1937, Pearl was married to Russell Johnson in Stillwater. The couple farmed near Deer Park. Pearl loved flowers, gardening and her cats. She enjoyed visitors, and always was ready with coffee and cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Oleana Carlson and her husband, Russell Johnson.
Pearl is survived by her daughters, Vivian Kemling and husband, Ron, of New Richmond, and Marlene Robl and her husband, Bill, of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Gary (Cheryl) Kemling, Judy (Joel) Gillis, Troy (Mary) Robl, Todd (Brenda) Robl and Travis Robl; great-grandchildren, Erica, Marshall, and Aaron Kemling, Jeremy, Justin, Jacob and Jessica Gillis, Ashley, Anthony, Kirsten, Lexus, Shayla and Faith Robl; brother-in-law, Percy Johnson; and many more relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Deer Park. Visitation was also held on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. at the church. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Kemling, Troy Robl, Todd Robl, Travis Robl, Anthony Robl and Justin Gillis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Arrangements were with Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
