Andrew David Jorgenson

Andrew David Jorgenson was born in Amery, Wisconsin on June 16, 1981. He was the son of David W. and Konny (Kullman) Jorgenson. He was baptized and confirmed at East Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Amery High School in 1999. He recently graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire with an associate degree in computer networking. He was enrolled for the fall semester at UW-River Falls to continue his education in business.

Andy was an active boy in high school. He played the sax in the Amery High School Band, was a member of the Amery Warrior Football, Basketball, Golf and Baseball teams. He worked at Amery Super Value for a number of years and recently had been working for the Amery Golf Club. He shared many like interests with his Dad, including golfing, fishing, and playing softball. The annual Jorgenson/Schock fishing trip to Canada was the highlight and signaled the beginning of summer. Andy died on Wednesday, August 1st, as a result of a car accident on the way to play softball with his Dad. Andy was 20 years old.

Andy leaves behind his mother Konny of Amery, his sister Emily of Minneapolis, his grandparents Warren and Mayta Jorgenson of Deer Park and Clarence Kullman of River Falls. His beloved Cate Staudinger, as well as many aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Andy Jorgenson were held on Monday, August 6th at 11 a.m. from East Immanuel Lutheran Church with Revs. Loren and Linda Schumacher officiating. Joel and Becky Sunde provided the music for the services. Casketbearers were Tim Waterman, Erik Wojchik, Beau Swanson, Justin Everson, Jeremiah Brodie, Aaron Schad, Chad Lunas, Mike Markee, Brent Dusek and Ryan Dodge. Interment was in the East Immanuel Cemetery with the Williamson Funeral Home of Amery, Wisconsin in charge of arrangements.
