Glenn Elmer Malone, 86, of New Richmond died Nov. 17, 2000 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. He was born the son of John and Alma (Campbell) Malone on Sept. 7, 1914 in Barron, Wis.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Janet, and his only son Michael.
He is survived by his wife Sophia (Jantz) Malone of New Richmond; stepchildren, Sandra (Ray) White of Turtle Lake, James (Kathy) Jantz of Dresser, Dawn (Don) Cress of New Richmond, Claudia (Marv) Loock of Baldwin, Cyndi Sylte and friend Dave Larson of Dresser, Wanda (Dan) Heffron of Shoreview, Minn., Candace Larsen and friend Tom Larsen of River Falls; brother Harold (Nellie) Malone of Madison; sisters, Dorothy Sundsmo of Barron, Lorraine (Neil) Cody of Chetek; brother Wilbur Malone of Almena; nephew Cliff (Pat) Sundsmo of Barron; daughter-in-law Marsha (Don) Henderson of Colfax; grandchildren Jenny (Don) Sokup, Jason Malone and friend Shannon; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond with Pastor Larry Jorstad officiating. The music was provided by Mary Ann Hanson as organist. The visitation was on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4-8 p.m. at Beebe Mortuary and a half hour prior to the service on Monday.
