Albert Walter Pomper, 73, of Mounds View, Minn. passed away March 24, 2002.
He was born in Forest to William and Laura Pomper who preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He spent two years in the Army Signal Corp during the Korean Conflict after which he was employed by Honeywell for 38 years before retiring. He enjoyed birds, all of nature and wildlife.
He will be deeply missed by wife, Evelyn of 49 years; daughter Melanie of Fridley, Minn.; and son Kirk (Colleen) of Frankfort, Ky.
Funeral services for Albert were at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Mounds View. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, Fridley, Minn., and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park.
Miller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 NE Hwy 65, Fridley, and one hour prior to service Friday in the church.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, WI.
