William W. (Bill) Schmidt, 56, of Andover, Kans., formerly of New Richmond, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001.
Memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at Peace Lutheran Church in Andover , Kan.
Bill was a retired farmer and construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Lillian Schmidt.
Bill is survived by his wife, Elaine; sons, Bill of Udall, Kan., Lance of Andover, Kan.; daughter, Michelle Ukasick of New Richmond; sister Lois (Richard) Handrahan of Danbury, Wis.; seven grandchildren.
A memorial was established with Peace Lutheran Church, 410 Grave Ave., Andover, KS 67002.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita, Kan. was in charge of arrangements.
