Edd A. Schultz

Edd A. Schultz was born December 28, 1913 at Menomonie, Wisconsin, the son of Fred and Eva (Anderson) Schultz.

He was united in marriage to Hilda Schreiber at Forest on May 30, 1942. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S.Army. He owned and operated a trucking business until 1950 and farmed in the Town of Forest until 1972 when he moved to Glenwood City. He was a board member of the Glenwood City Co-op for 18 years and a member of the Glenwood City Council for 6 years. He was a past church council member.

Mr. Schultz died at Glenwood City March 11, 1983, having reached the age of 69 years, 2 months, and 13 days.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Hilda; his mother, Eva Schultz, American Lutheran Home, Menomonie; 1 brother, Cleo Schultz, Boyceville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 15, 1983 at Grace Lutheran Church, Connorsville, with Reverend Louis Kerestes officiating. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, WI. The organist was Mrs. Jack Schmitz and the vocalists were Mrs. Noel Wold and William Wold. The active pallbearers were: David Retz, Franklin Retz, James Swenson, David Swanepoel, Clarence Hahn, Thomas Jeske. The Honorary pallbearers were: Robert Palewicz, Milnor Johnson, Roscoe Garske, Alfred Schrank, Clifford Winberg and Richard Rosen.

Arrangements were by Everts Funeral Home, Inc., Glenwood City.
