Jeanette Pauline Scobey

Jeanette Pauline Scobey was born near Deer Park, Wisconsin on April 9, 1914 the daughter of John and Pauline Peterson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith in the Methodist Church in Deer Park. At Stillwater, Minnesota on January 12, 1931 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Frank Scobey. To this union three children were born. The Scobey's made their home at Deer Park, Wis all of her life. Jeanette died at the Hudson Memorial Hospital in the Hospice Unit on Saturday, November 19, 1983 at the age of 69 years, 7 months, and 10 days. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Deer Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and her parents.

Left to mourn her passing are her son Lloyd Scobey of Hudson; her twin daughters Janet Sue Johnson of Cumberland, and Mary Lou Livermore of Hudson, WI; one sister Viola DeSmith of Glenwood City, Wis; she also leaves 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren besides many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 22, 1983 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Morning officiating. Solos were sung by Konny Jorgenson accompanied by Jane Johnson. Pallbearers were Perry Scobey, Wayne Scobey, Arvid Fouks, Dennis DeSmith, Jim DeSmith, and Dean DeSmith. Interment was in the Calvary Cemetery with the Williamson Funeral Home of Amery, Wis. in charge of arrangements.
