Rodney John Simonson was born on July 4, 1955 in New Richmond, Wisconsin the son of Melvin and Laura Simonson. He graduated from Glenwood City High School. Rodney enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able. He died on Thursday, July 7, 2011 in rural Amery, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Bonnie Steinert. Left to mourn are his brothers: Everett and Sheldon (Ruth) Simonson; sisters: Gloria (Kenrad) Anderson, Sharon Fortunak, and Judy Brockway. There will be private family services.
