RONALD L. WILHELM
September 4, 1929 - November 4, 2006

Ronald L. Wilhelm, age 77, a resident of Webster, Wis., died November 4, 2006.

Ronald was born September 4, 1929 in Deer Park to Ronald E. and Gertrude (Fouks) Wilhelm. Ronald attended New Richmond School graduating in 1947. He was in the United States Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War era. Ronald worked for Maple Island Dairies in Stillwater, Minn. In 1965 he moved to Webster, in 1968 Ronald started working as a deputy Sheriff which lead him to Gastonia County Sheriff's Department in Gastonia, North Carolina where he retired from in the late 1990's as Sargeant. Ronald was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Webster, Wis. He loved his self guided tours of Crex Meadows, deer hunting, football and his grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his children Ronald L. (Nancy) Wilhelm, Jr. of Grantsburg; Deborah Angel of Malabar, Fla.; Sandra (Frank) Nemis of Royal Oak, Mich.; Annette (Bill) Arnold of Danbury; Joan L. Wilhelm of Webster; sister Beverly Vetter of Amery; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; aunt Esther (Glen) Anderson of Woodbury, Minn.; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services were held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor John Siedschag officiating. Music was provided by soloist Karen Rivers, organists Inez Buboltz, and Annette Arnold. Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Wilhelm, Jennifer Gates, Jonathan Wilhelm, Corey Wilhelm, Adam Gates, Jordan Lewis, Jesse Lewis, Cody Marshall, Justin Wilhelm, Jacob Wilhelm, Larissa Wilhelm, Mary Arnold, William Arnold III, Joseph Arnold, Elijah Marshall and Noah Gates. Military honors were accorded by the State Honor Guard, Spooner attachment.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wis.

Ronald L. Wilhelm, 77, resident of Webster, died November 4, 2006.

Memorial services were Thursday, November 9, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor John Siedschlag officiating.

Music was provided by soloist Karen Rivers and organists Inez Buboltz and Annette Arnold.

Honorary bearers were Jeremy Wilhelm, Jennifer Gates, Jonathan Wilhelm, Corey Wilhelm, Adam Gates, Jordan Lewis, Jesse Lewis, Cody Marshall, Justin Wilhelm, Jacob Wilhelm, Larissa Wilhelm, Mary Arnold, William Arnold III, Joseph Arnold, Elijah Marshall and Noah Gates.

He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
