The Deer Park History Project was organized to preserve the history of the area and families of Deer Park. Our History Project Corner features a display case that contains a display of gifts that the Deer Park businesses gave to their loyal customers. Thanks to everyone in the community who has generously added items to the display!
In our Corner you will also find a desk from the Deer Park School and a baseball display including the trophy bat from 1934 baseball season of the Deer Park Deers.
A main feature of our area is the file cabinet that features 3 things:
family genealogies,
information on the businesses in Deer Park over the years, and platbooks.
These files are available to the public at any time that the library is open. Copies can be made at the library. If you need assistance, the librarians will contact a member of the project and we will be glad to set up a time to meet with you and provide assistance if we can.
