Authorities confirm the discovery of another toxic methamphetamine lab dump in Polk County. This dump was found near Big Lake, after residents noted an out-of-place black plastic bag in a Town of Garfield ditch. This discovery comes on the heels of another major lab discovery less than two weeks ago near Wanderoos on State Highway 65. Methamphetamine production uses highly toxic chemicals, and leaves even more toxic remnants, which the illegal drug producers tend to dump in out-of-the way ditches, woods and backroads. Investigators have gone through the dump contents, digging for evidence of who is responsible.
