The year 2001 is now history. Here are a few of the events as covered on the Deer Park Community Center web site during the past year.
Christmas lights are everywhere and Deer Park has lots of them too.
The Methodist Church put on a Thanksgiving Dinner for the public with a heavy turn out at the Community Center in November.
The September 11 attacks rocked the world and Deer Park people too.
The 4th of July summer celebration started on June 29th with fireworks and a picnic in the Deer Park Village Park.
After a rapid snow melt heavy spring rains hit. Willow River remained in mostly it's banks, but Apple River didn't and Black Brook Dam was considered threatened. The Stillwater Bridge was closed for weeks.
The New Year began with a fresh coating of snow. January 1st photos show a few of these scenes.
